NoFace is built around a simple principle: applications should receive the answers they need without requiring your identity.
NoFace Vault
NoFace Vault verifies identity documents and their holders locally on your device. Your identity is not sent to NoFace.
On-device verification
Identity document information, NFC chip data, facial images and biometric templates are processed locally on your device. NoFace Vault does not transmit this information to NoFace or third-party servers.
Protected local storage
Your Vault credential and the information required to use it are stored locally using protected device storage. Biometric and identity data are not stored on NoFace servers.
No tracking
NoFace Vault does not currently use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services and does not track users.
NoFacePoll
NoFacePoll uses privacy-preserving proofs and retains only the information required to operate and protect polls.
Data minimization
NoFacePoll stores only the information required to operate polls, verify eligibility and prevent duplicate participation.
Proof storage
Cryptographic proofs and related verification records may be retained where required for replay protection, integrity and auditing.
Operational logs
NoFacePoll retains limited operational logs to maintain the service, monitor availability and diagnose errors.
Support and contact
If you contact NoFace support, we receive only the information you choose to provide. Please do not send identity documents, document numbers, MRZ data, NFC contents, facial images, biometric information or other sensitive identity information.
For document compatibility reports, the issuing country, document type, iPhone model and iOS version are sufficient.
